Who wears clip-on ties?
Clip on ties are not just for people that don’t know how to tie a tie. Below is a list of typical people wearing clip-on neckties:
Kids:
Kids wear neckties or bow-ties only on rare occasion, and trying to teach a kid how to tie a tie might be quite a project. Luckily there are clip on ties that are pretied. They are simply clipped onto the kids shirt collar. It is not only convenient, but kids clip-on ties are also much more comfortable to wear.
Disabled people:
A large majority of men that suffered from a stroke are unable to master fine movement with their left arm. Tying a tie is an almost impossible task. Luckily for those, there is an easy alternative to the standard necktie: The clip-on tie.
Security personal:
Wearing a tie that is tied around your neck can be hazardous for people working in certain insdustries. Security personal, and people working in the protection industry wear a pre-tied clip-on tie. If someone tries to choke the person by pulling on the tie, the clip-on will simply come loose.
People working around dangerous machinery
You might recall images in movies where people’s ties got stuck in a paper shredder. For the regular office worker the chance of getting injured this way is less than 1:1,000,000. For people that regulary work, and operate on dangerous machinery however, this risk is much greater. Once again the clip-on tie is the necktie of choice. For that reason, the clip-on tie is also often called the “safty tie” by people woring in such an environent.
